Voltic Speed
A downloadable game
This is Voltic Speed, our project intentions was to promote electric cars in a fun racing game (note that the cars do not actually exist and nor does the company we are promoting).
Playing this game you are going to crash, you are going to see some absurd driving but, you will have fun!
The development team for this game are as follows:
-Cal Hilton = Project Manager, Programmer & Audio Designer
-Luke Dean = 3D Modeller & Level Designer
-Taylor Crawford = 3D Modeller & Animator
-Kirk Hogden = Programmer & UI Designer
When opening the zip please make sure to press "Voltic Speed Prototype.exe" to open the game (apologies for the lazy naming).

I liked the game very much. The concept is simple and quick to pick up. The car is easy to control and the user journey was intuitive. The idea of using a simple game to promote a marketing concept (in your case electric cars) is an intelligent approach to finding alternative markets for games, a market that I am sure is saturated and difficult to gain any traction in, might be an idea to send your link to marketing companies to see if they would be interesting in sponsoring a commission.
game's fun and funny, but everything feels a bit too light, as if all cars are balloons. when you bump into a wall, you go flying. acceleration is fast, which helps with unwieldy cars, but makes it harder to control the car and adds to the feeling of weightlessness
also, the cam is too far away from the camera on high speeds
